Job Designation : Design Engineer

Job Location : Bangalore

Job Description :
  • Provide sustaining engineering support
  • Create OEM electrical component symbols using Zuken E3.Series or any similar Electrical CAD tools
  • Create symbols & footprints needed for PCB design using Cadence OrCAD & Allegro
  • Update database part status and other library management activities.

Job Requirements :
  • Should have good electrical component knowledge
  • Experience in library parts creation in any of the electrical design softwares i.e Zuken E3 Series/ EPLAN/ CAPITAL
  • Experience in understanding electrical component parameters
  • Can interpret written specification or requirements
  • Communicate with OEM manufacture to get the technical and dimensional details
  • 2 - 5 yrs of experience
  • Diploma in Engineering (Electrical)

Job Description :
  1. Executes on correcting design and documentation quality issues based on resolutions provided by design engineers
  2. Supports manufacturing by documenting and releasing engineering drawings & bills of materials using Engineering Change Order process
  3. Provides drafting and documentation support for design engineers
Job Requirements :

  1. Experience in generating and reviewing drawings/Drawing Quality checking (mechanical and electrical)
  2. Should have Design experience in Sheetmetal
  3. Experience with Pro-Engineer or any other CAD tools
  4. Should have manufacturing process experience
  5. Experience with sheet metal design and various fabrication methods.
  6. Experience in working with Engineering Change Control process
  7. Experience with selection of materials and fabrication techniques for mechanical parts
  8. Experience interacting with vendors and suppliers to obtain information and to perform component selection
