Job Description :
- Coordinates with various departments to determine scope, complexity, and planning and scheduling requirements of projects. Assigns appropriate personnel to provide cost-effective engineering and technical support.
- Defines an appropriate cost-effective workflow process and level of design detail to achieve project goals. Estimates work hours to generate project deliverables and support the design team.
- Ensures the quality, accuracy, consistency and completeness of overall work as to process engineering principles, compliance with established IPS standards, procedures, codes and ordinances; adherence to project schedules; and provides adequate training, technical and administrative guidance, and instruction to personnel within the department
- Develops Process strategic business plan in concert with overall company planning efforts involving technical/regulatory activities required to achieve long range and annual goals and objectives. Assists in ongoing strategic planning for the entire company
- Plans and schedules work for the department ensuring the proper and effective distribution of assignments and manpower, space, and facilities for subsequent performance of duties. Liaison for inter-office labor, work sharing and outsourcing to consultants.
- Regularly reviews productivity/quality reports to ensure top performance.
- Manages the maintenance activities in support of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Responsible for the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Planner/Scheduler and maintenance staff.
- Responsible for defining clear performance indicators and work schedules in support of the manufacturing operations and business objectives.
- Responsible for controlling the departmental expense budget while effectively maintaining the facilities and continuously focusing on ways to reduce operating expenses.
- All work is performed in compliance with FSSAI and GMP requirements, as well as all state and local requirements relating to health, safety and the environment.
Job Requirements :
- 1. BE / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Candidates from Pharma background having exposure of Utility and Project will be prefer.
3. Must possess knowledge of all facility equipment (such as boilers, chillers, compressed air, HVAC, electrical, roofing, etc.) and the supporting utilities within a facility.
4. Must have knowledge of a validated maintenance preventive maintenance system.
5. Experience with PLC, CMMS and Controls systems desirable.
6. Organizational and time management skills
7. Progressive ability, capacity, and aptitude in administration to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work and to obtain cooperation from others
8. Analytical thinking, structured problem solving skills, superior communications skills, team building and strong work ethic.
