Job Description :Review and Preparation of - Basic concept & design
- Equipment selection and Technical Specification,
- Offer evaluation,
- Technical recommendation,
- Vendor drawing review,
- Attending meetings with Vendor & Client,
- Review of general arrangement and detail fabrication drawings
Preparation/ Review Detailed fabrication drawings from basic design of technology supplier
Detail Engineering for Equipment spares for different equipment of integrated steel plant, it includes review and preparation of
- Site measurement/reverse engineering
- Review of general arrangement and detailed fabrication drawings
Review of assignment drawings which will be issued to other departments for their inputs.
- Concurrence of other discipline drawings
- Preparation/Review design of conveying system, which includes selection of Conveyor Belting, Pulleys, Bearings Etc. Also it includes derivation of Power required to drive the system, selection of drive equipments like Motor, Gearbox, High Speed and Low speed couplings, Brakes etc.
- Review General Arrangement drawings in concurrence with related functional departments and detailed fabrication drawings of the conveyor components like Head End, Tail End, Stringers, Chutes, Different take up / Bend pulley support arrangements, pulleys etc.
- Review drawings for Material Handling system including sizing of buildings and junction towers for tendering purpose
- Assisting bidding activity by providing engineering inputs which enables them for BOQ and cost estimation
- Guiding engineers / draftsman for preparation design & detailing work
- Responsible for ISO documentation/implementation
- Provide detailed documentation upon project completion
- Motivating the team to achieve high standards and KPI targets
- Providing prompt and accurate information on individual performance
Job Requirements :Experience in Design and Detailed Heavy engineering Machinery Steel plant Equpiment / Raw material Handling equipment /Power Plant Equipment/ Heavy equpiment of
Mechanical/Material handling Heavy Equipments and Material Handling system
Operating Systems : WindowsNT/XP/2000
Programming Languages : C, C++, BASIC, VBA for Auto CAD, Lisp for Auto CAD
CAD Packages : Auto CAD, Bentley Micro Station
Modelling packages : Pro/E, Solid works, Catia v5,,
Mechanical Desk Top
Analysis packages : Ansys, ProE/
Mechanica/MDX/MDO, COSMOS Motion, COSMOS Works.
