Job Description :
Future work and responsibilities for the Firefox Accounts team includes
Scaling out our infrastructure to provide multi-region redundancy.

Improving performance and security of our OAuth2 infrastructure.

Adding enhanced security features, such as two-factor authentication and a general-purpose encryption API.

Implementing a Web dashboard for users to manage their connected services.
Writing easy-to-use client libraries, demos and documentation to assist other teams with integrating the service.

Requirements
2+ years of experience building Web services.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, either in node.js or client-side development
Great communication skills.
The ability to work as part of a globally distributed team.
The confidence to quickly learn and be effective across multiple codebases.
Familiarity with every level of the web application development stack, from databases and RESTful APIs through to JSON and HTML.

Job Description :
The Executive Assistant’s core responsibility is to anticipate, prioritize, and assist the VP of HR and the VP of Platform Engineering. The individual plays a critical role in managing the smooth functioning of both the VP’s teams and must be proficient in a fast paced, high demand organization. The EA must operate with finesse, flawless judgment, and confidentiality at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily advanced calendaring, meeting preparations, and assisting the Executives with anticipating their day (meeting agendas, conference/video call meeting setup, etc.)
  • Effective collaboration and communication with other Mozilla Senior Executives and their Assistants
  • Arrangement and coordination of complex international travel schedules and trip logistics
  • Support during international trips with schedule and route changes, when needed during US night and weekend hours
  • Triaging Requests: request screening, acknowledgement, routing via email and phone and other communication means (sms text, etc) all the way through request completion
  • Overall understanding of management of department operations, policies and procedures
  • Support of other executives, directors, or teams at the discretion of the VP's, on a temporary or permanent basis
  • Travel to accompany and support teams as needed, including international travel, up to 4 times a year
  • Based in San Francisco, with one day a week in Mountain View.

Specific Skills and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education, and 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Executive support experience in the technology space
  • Experience with web-based scheduling and collaboration tools
  • Exceptional and proven organizational and time management skills; attention to detail, world-class follow-through
  • Extensive experience with arrangement and coordination of complex schedules and logistics, preferably across multiple timezones.

*Identification of net new business opportunities and managing those opportunities to closure

*Successfully manage global Business Development activities within the following business verticals: mobile operators in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, local sales/business development teams at selected OEMs and chipset vendors.
 

*This would cover Mozilla’s product offerings of Firefox OS, Firefox for Android, Firefox Accounts, WebRTC and the Firefox App Marketplace.

Success in the role will require strategic analysis of global market opportunities that align with Mozilla’s values, product roadmaps, and market needs. This role also requires a high degree of cross-group collaboration with the product teams, marketing, legal, finance, and operations.

*Mobile industry experience within the European region.
 

*Ideally, candidate will have an extensive connection of contacts with the major mobile operators throughout the European continent.
 

*Strong business development experience, and a demonstrated ability to define, develop, implement and execute innovative partnerships (including OEM, channel, etc.) to drive distribution, leverage referrals with other partners, and increase partnership potential.
 

*Experience with a wide variety of contracts, including licensing, co-marketing, revenue share, advertising and distribution/channels.
 

*Significant experience in mobile, mobile operators, consumer Internet and web domain.
 

*Strategic thinker who has the ability to interpret and act upon industry trends to identify new business opportunities, while maintaining a sharp focus on day-to-day execution.   Strong negotiation and  analytical skills are a requirement.
 

*Proven success in a fast-paced, startup type environment with a hands on, roll up the sleeves approach.  Strong track record of closing new partner deals with limited resources. Has the pulse of the market, customers and partners by directly engaging with them.
 

*Experience leading an opportunity through a business development process successfully with a rapid change cycle.
 

*Proven ability to close large, global deals with multinational mobile operators
 

*Frequent travel required with the ability to travel 25% to 50%.
