Job Description :As a lead member in Software Product Install team, must have in-depth knowledge and rich hands-on experience in software packaging, software installer creation and software upgrade/patching processes and related technologies.
Design and develop the software installer(s) / installer framework for production deployment of new product releases, upgrades and patches for Oracle based Enterprise Applications (includes Database and Weblogic based Middleware layer)
To write product installer functional and design specifications as well as respond to requirements and/or design documents troubleshoot software installation configuration issues on supported Operating Systems - Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, IBM AIX document install processes and procedures, conduct trainings and perform any other tasks that will enable the product install team to provide better support
Job Requirements :A Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent stream with 10 - 12 years of proven industry experience in software product install technologies with strong administration and support experience with good understanding of Oracle DB and Middleware Products
Ability to create installer which will install, deploy, configure the Oracle Database and be able to upgrade the same and also deploy the various Application(s) and also be able to upgrade the same
MMM,Python and Perl
Strong knowledge of various Software Product Installer Authoring Tools like InstallShield, InstallAnywhere, Windows Installer, Windows Installer XML (WIX) and Oracle provided tools to package and create installer as applicable
