Job Description :
  • Resource will be working in a customer facing role to ensure that our managed services SLAs are being met for each customer. 
  • Resource will be interfacing with internal BI resources both on and offshore to make sure daily, weekly and monthly tasks are being met. 
  • Incumbent will be responsible for engaging customers for QBR meetings and presenting metrics on our performanceand work with them on improvements to meet key metrics and deliverables in our SLA.


  • Provide and lead on-call production support of the BI platform, including troubleshooting issues ranging from the frontend, all the way to the backend servers and databases.
  • Create, maintain and modify application security models.
  • Help plan and assist in the transition of environment management from customer resource to our internal team.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate data security requirements for the storage, transportation and retention of data.
  • Manage and patch, hotfix and upgrade installations.


Job Requirements :
  1. Resource must be familiar with a variety of BI development platforms (Hyperion, OBIEE, QlikView, BO, Cognos etc.) so that he/she can interact with our teams and end customers.
  2. 8 - 13 yrs of related experience.
  3. Experienced to write process documents for internal team.
  4. B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both the business and technical communities.
  6. Ability to work independently. Excellent customer facing skills.
  7. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  8. Experience working with and managing offshore teams.
  9. Strong organizational and Project management skills.
  10. Hands-on experience on BI concepts, architecture and industry best practices.
  11. Participation in BI system installations, migrations, upgrades and patching activities a plus.
  12. Excellent working knowledge of Administration of platform including server administration, setting up middleware and user security mechanisms.
  13. Experience with data modeling or ETL tools a plus especially BO Data Services.
  14. Thorough understanding of relational databases and SQL, in particular, dimension modeling.
  15. Building/Modifying the physical, logical and presentation layers in the OBIEE repository.
  16. Administration of OBIEE and Web Catalog.
  17. Product Support and Development Experience : OBIEE 11.1.1.5
  18. Hands-on experience working with OBIEE, RPD, Informatica development, support and enhancement.
  19. Working experience in one or more BI Analytics/Applications such as Financial Analytics.
  20. Experience in Oracle EBS (Supply Chain & Order Management etc) 
  21. Report development using Oracle BI Answers / Dashboards and BI Publisher.
  22. Building/Modifying the physical, logical and presentation layers in the OBIEE repository.
  23. Experience in configuring Informatica 7.x and above. 
  24. Able to Configure DAC and create custom execution plans.
  25. Experience in SQL, PL/SQL & Performance Tuning.
