Job Designation : Electronics Simulation Engineer
Job Location : Bengaluru/Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Job Description :
Identifies issues and areas for improvement with existing technical processes, either independently or through cross-functional teams
Participate in various technical forums, be part of identification and implementation of best technical practices.
Demonstrate accountability (collaborating with others) for the design / implementation/ delivery of subsystem/product.
Work with all the stakeholders to ensure that technical objectives are met with the given project/program constraints
Job Requirements :
Have deep understanding and hands on experience in System Modeling and Simulation
Should have hands on experience in using simulation software like SABER, PSpice, LT Spice and MATLAB
Should be able to analyze electronics circuits and have thorough understanding of functions of electronic devices, physics of sensors and its interfaces, electrical characteristics, calibration techniques etc.,
Should have knowledge of digital circuits, logics, operating principles, principle of Noise, temperature effects on devices and circuits, concept of operating points, principle of feedback systems, circuit stability and compensation techniques etc.,
Should have hands on experience to interpret simulation results, bring out inferences, summarize actions and provide recommendations for improvements.
Should be familiar with New Product development process and principles.
Should be able to identify necessary simulation requirements in NPI projects right at the early stages of development.
Be a technical solution provider and enable design teams achieving project objectives through appropriate electronics simulation support
Should have good communication skills and work with global teams
Be able to work with other Simulation Engineers and should have quest for continuous improvement and continuous learning attitude
Have 1 - 4 years of experience application development experience
Demonstrate in depth technical knowledge in C# or C++, Windows application development
Have a thorough understanding of OOAD and Design patterns, SQL and OS concepts.Qualification:
BE Electronics / Electronics & Communication or any other related disciplines with 3 to 4 years of experience in electronics simulation, use of simulation tools like SABER, Pspice, MATLAB, Simulink etc.,
OR
ME in the related filed of Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation with 1-2 years experience in electronics simulation, use of simulation tools like SABER, Pspice, MATLAB, Simulink etc.,
Have a firm grasp on various Software Development Life Cycle processes and their applicability to various type of projects
Preferred to have prior experience in Tools development for Verification processes, Qualification, as per DO-178 design assurance guidelines.
Fair understanding of low level software verification methods and tools currently in use as well as versed in industry standards and direction.
Basic technical knowledge of Avionics Architectures/platforms and protocols is an advantage
