Position : Java Server Engineer/Administrator
Location : Noida
Responsibility :
- Configure and optimize Java Web/App server
- Develop Java Web/App server health check list
- Monitor and maintain production Java/Web/App server
- Working development team on code deployments to UAT/Training/Production
- Ready to work on weekends and odd timing when required
Requirements :
- 5 or more years of Java Application server admin and configuration – preferable jBoss or Glassfish
- Good knowledge of server load balancing configurations as server level, connection pooling, database connectivity
- Experience of Java application performance monitoring and tuning
- Experience of Java application deployment/version control
- Experience of maintain multiple high available production server environment
- Ability to take initiatives and drive for results
Position : Junior Data Base Administrator
Location : Noida
DBA Responsibilities :
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle/MySQL server software and related products.
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining Tables, Partitioning, indexes, Global Temporary Tables, Triggers, stored procedures.
- Experience in writing SQL queries (preferably nested queries).
- Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting & resolution of failed tasks & database issues, taking action on issues reported by proactive monitoring setup and having a sense of urgency to fix issues ASAP.
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
- Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
Skills Required :
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or other relational database systems.
- Working experience on Linux / UNIX platforms and familiar with Linux I/O, memory, filesystems.
- Experience in installation and configuration of RDBMS on Linux / UNIX platforms independently
- Knowledge of ALL backup and recovery scenarios.
- Knowledge of the physical/logical database design.
- Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle.
- Solid English communication skills with management, development teams, vendors, and systems administrators.
- Experience with SQL or MySQL databases is a plus.
Qualifications :
Strong preference for a certified Oracle DBA (OCA).
Note : Shift Timing – Day and Night both rotational (Day Shift Timing 1:00pm to 10:00pm and Night Shift Timing 6:30pm to 3:30pm).
