Job Description :
Will be able to develop solutions from written specs or direct communications with the user;
Responding to users support calls;
Work in close relation with Applications Manager & the Functional Analysts to provide solutions and support;
Addressing improvement of operational efficiencies with respect to usage of the Baan applications;
Must have a good understanding of all functional areas of Baan / Infor ERP LN and knowledge of Baan Tools and SQL;
Prioritize, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day production issues. Provide hands-on user training as needed;
Be the Baan techno-functional support lead for the assigned facility. Capability of working independently on issues;
Participate with users and facilitate business processes streamlining in Baan.
Job Requirements :
Experience (6 to 7 years relevant) in the following areas as part of requirement for this role:
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in client facing roles will be strong plus;
- Excellent Baan technical programming and development skills with emphasis on Baan IV, Baan V and Infor ERP LN database design and analytical skills;
- Strong at Customizations coding, architect/design solutions, unit testing, systems; testing. Build interfaces / integration with satellite applications to Baan, if required;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Must demonstrate an ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a project/support oriented environment;
- Expertise of Baan Tools;
- Acts as a Technical resource for support of the end-users;
- Extensive experience with Baan SQL, DALs, and User Exits;
- Experience in working with an Implementation Team Structure;
- Baan / Infor ERP LN Applications experience in relevant modules;
- Unix scripting and Oracle Database knowledge a plus.
- Role will be based out of the B&D office but there resource must also be open to travel (domestic & international) and being based from client site for extended durations if required.
- Ability to work under pressure and in an environment with multiple clients.
- You must have demonstrated stability in prior employment tenures.
- Candidates who have changed jobs frequently in recent years are generally ineligible to join the B&D team
- Selected candidates must be able to join within a month or less. Candidates with longer contractual notice periods will only be considered if they can join in this time-frame.
- Minimum Bachelors degree from a well-recognized college/ university.
