Job Position : Android App Developer
Job Location : Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Job Description :
The android intern will lead development of the Twiddly android app for the retail use case. He/she will build on the existing code base for the lockscreen app and build engaging experiences on top of it.
He/she will be entrusted with the responsibility to work together with the rest of the team and build a pilot version of the app which will go into testing/production with hundreds of users if not thousands. This will be for the US market for a Fortune 30 retailer.
Job Criteria :
- Front end development experience, with focus on providing high quality user experience is essential.
- 1-2+ years experience building native android apps.
- Having tons of startup energy and get-it-done attitude.
- Quick at picking up existing code.
- Well versed in gradle based build system and using android studio.
- Experience with google cloud messaging (GCM).
- Knows how to work with android services and broadcast receivers.
- Keeps up to date with latest android support libraries.
- Working knowledge of SQLlite.
- Experience with json parsing using GSON.
- Working knowledge of NodeJS is a plus.
- Experience in building high quality android SDKs is a plus.
