Job Description :
- Responsible to perform electrical diagnosis, repairs, modifications and projects utilizing electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the servicing of single & 3-phase power distribution panels, control centers and motors;
- Control circuits (2-wire, 3-wire, holding circuits); Control components (Push-buttons, photo-electric switches, limit switches, relays, contactors & V.F.D.s); PLCs and Ladder logic diagrams.
- Responsible for providing hands-on maintenance and repair services to all areas of winery operations including electrical/mechanical equipment, infrastructure, fixtures, furnishings and buildings.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance of all winery equipment to include but not limited to: Cellar equipment - pumps, hoses, valves & fittings, storage racks, filters; Crush equipment de-stemmers, pumps, presses, conveyors, and hoists.
Job Requirements :
- Able to complete assignments and work orders with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of refrigeration processes and equipment (Glycol and/or Ammonia) Welding skills - TIG & MIG, and/or sanitary welding.
- Computer skills required. Must have own hand tools to perform electrical & mechanical repairs.
- Able to travel between the 3 central coast wineries as assignments develop to support projects, repairs or team development.
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently.
- Must have good dexterity, vision, talk, and hearing.
- Person will walk, kneel, bend and stand.
- Must be able to climb ladders, work from heights and in small spaces, and physically agile to perform required work.
- Percentages necessary to do this job: Sitting 5% Standing 85% Walking 75% Climbing 25% Bending 80% Pushing 80% Lifting 75% Carrying 50 lbs.The incumbent must have minimum experience of 6-8 years in all type of reparing and maintenance of plant and electrical parts as : Strater MCC Panel, Control Panels, Cable lying, Electric mtor termination , L.T & H.T upto 33 KV.
