Job Location : Bangalore, India

Job Description :
  • Understand current POS architecture, Identify and translate functional requirements into system design documentation; ensure quality of internal and external client-oriented product documentation
  • Write code and able to transform technical specification to a working software.
  • Able to navigate and debug through large C/C++/Win32/YACC code base and get the feature/requirement implemented.

  • Able to effectively communicate with team members for technical issues and raising any concerns in time.
  • To deliver timely defect fixes and provide update in TFS and get it reviewed.
  • Should be able to work in Emulators and develop features to simulate different components like Pin Pad, Thermal Printer etc.
  • Defines and assists with the implementation of source code control, knowledge management, project management portal and change management systems

  • C/C++
    Win32 API/ Services/ COM
    STL
    Data Structures and Bit fields
    YACC
    Active X controls
    Serial Bus(RS 232) Programming
    Basic Networking TCP/IP
    XML/XSLT
    Interfacing with embedded systems
  • Experience in working on Retail products/platforms 
  • Experience working with distributed teams operating internationally (e.g. Japan, India, US)
  • Ability to work well across teams
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Education:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent
