Job Description :
- Develop strategic brand plan, complete with outlined objectives, strategy and tactics, promotional strategy, ensuring expansion and growth goals are met.
- Solicit, prospect and develop a new clientele and maintain them (Spas, Salons, Luxury Hotels, General Trades and Modern Trade)
- Develop strong relationship with Key retailers and play a key part in facilitating joint promotional/ business plans to deliver growth with these retailers.
- Assure that brand plans are aligned with key market needs and retailers, and are consistent with brand's overall mission and strategic goals.
- Analyze market data (consumer, competitive economic, positioning, distributions channels, trends, advertising) that is relevant for future brand innovation plans.
- Maintain brand calendars and key documents
- Develop and manage budgets and financial documents
- Develop and maintain relevant digital strategy and tools.
- Responsible for pricing strategies
- Product Awareness Building, Visibility & Merchandising
- Analyzing and handling Competition and competitor activities.
Job Requirements :
- Strong understanding of the beauty care and cosmetics market in India.
- Solid experience of working with distributors in India.
- Strong trade / customer marketing experience.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Good Financial & analytical ability including budget management.
- Strong project management skills and adhering to deadlines on deliverables.
- Good comprehension of all areas of the marketing mix.
- Good understanding of PR, and how to best leverage this as part of the marketing mix.
- Ability to work across cultures, having strong cross-cultural awareness.
- Able to work independently in a remote location without day to day supervision.
- Able to build relationships within the distributor and organization.
- Good team player.
- Minimum 5 years experience within the cosmetics industry
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact with different groups with diverse needs and requirements.
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, Hindi and any other regional language).
