Job Requirements :
- Domain expert with 5-6 years of industry experience.
- Experience in switch-mode power supplies design including circuit topologies, semiconductor devices, gate drivers, passive component design and specification, thermal management and/or control architecture. The last 2 years must have designed LED luminaire and driver circuitry.
- Hands-on test/debug experience in an electronic lab environment with PC tools, oscilloscopes, as well as support lab activities such as assembly, debug, lab management, and component procurement.
- Experience in designing circuitry, or hardware, from detailed concept descriptions, including feasibility assessment, part selection, schematics, simulation, PCB layout, and software integration.
- Experience with object oriented software development (familiar with software tools, basic testing framework, application programming interfaces, graphical user interfaces, scripting and documentation) and embedded systems a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects involving a variety of resources with defined deadlines/schedules.
