Job Description : 
Senior Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing Java based web applications and must have extensive hands-on experience with Java (J2EE)



Skills Required:

1. Design and develop  web applications using technologies that include, but are not limited to, Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Struts, EJB, Sprint, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and SQL Server/ PostgreSQL/ MySQL
2. Experience in Agile (preferably SCRUM) methodology
3. Experience in working on complex enterprise applications
4. Experience in writing SQL scripts and Functions/ Triggers
5. Accountability for and completion of every agreed upon goal for all sprints.
6. Must always act with utmost professionalism, maturity, and have the ability to work through disagreements in a positive manner.
7. Must work well with others, both within and outside the team.
8. Must keep technical knowledge up to date and actively work to apply this knowledge on project
9. Must be able to perform under pressure
10. Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
11. Have exposure working for a US/ UK/ Australia based client
12. Must be open to work at odd hours if required
13. Qualifications:
14. Java Developer with at least 4 years of experience
15. Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
16. Must be enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
17. Passionate, self-directed and a champion for technology within the company.
18. Excellent organization and communication skills
19. Master degree in Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.
20. Insurance domain knowledge preferable.
