Job Description :
  • Hold regular discussions with customer, delivery teams, vendors & partners for moving the project in the right direction
  • Deliver on the customer expectations as well as milestones defined in the Contract within the agreed timelines
  • Track and Follow all activities as per the agreed Project Plan with the Customer
  • Identify and mitigate risks identified in the project
  • Work closely and provide direction, leadership and guidance to different track leads (including but not limited to ERP, IMS, Call Centre, Networking & Security) to design, implement and integrate solution as per agreed customer objectives
  • Take lead in situation assessment, developing response strategy, review and feedback process as well as pricing/ commercial decisions

  • Ability to analyze and plan various project options based on time, budget and technology elements and quickly arrive at key plans and decisions
  • Follow all processes internal to Tech M
  • Build the right team (including hiring new resources) for the project
  • Provide Weekly & Monthly reports to all stakeholders (delivery and customer) for tracking project progress as well as identify & overcome issues effecting successful delivery of the project
  • Manage and Deliver the targeted P&L numbers for the project
  • Correct Invoicing on milestone acceptance and payment collection
  • Managing all inward and outward communication with the Client
  • Knowledge Management
  • Manage and handle Change Requests from the existing project for the larger benefit of the organization

Job Requirements :
  1. 20 - 25 years of total experience with at least 10 years leadership experience of Project Management to larger Program Management.
  3. Managing and supporting large projects comprising of Enterprise Applications like SAP ERP & ISU, Data Center Built including IT & Non-IT components, Customer Management, Partner / Vendor Management and Managing overall P&L of project.
  5. Must have managed minimum 2-3 large System Integration (SI) projects in Electricity Sector of values above 50 Million USD. SAP Applications & IBM infra projects back ground would be preferred.
  7. Have in depth knowledge of power distribution sector business processes of billing, customer service, revenue protection, energy management operation & maintenance, asset management, etc.
  9. Must have experience in handling Govt. Client. Minimum one project in Govt. owned power Distribution Company.
  10. Proven track record of managing and delivering large scale, multi-location, complex System Integration Projects
  11. Hands on experience in managing projects in Government Utilities Power Distribution domain
  12. Well versed with Utilities Power Distribution Sector business processes of billing, customer service, revenue protection, energy management operation & maintenance, asset management, etc.
  13. Strong Techno-Commercial/Business Orientation/ Cost Sensitivity skills.
  14. Strong performance in managing the Project P&L and delivering on the same
  15. Willing to travel internationally and work on an onsite-offshore model as per the requirement of the project
  16. Capable of working in a multi-vendor environment
  17. Experience of managing a Team size of 50+ resources
  18. Strong Account Management. Should be a client facing personality with Excellent Communication, Client Management and Vendor Management skills
  19. Possess excellent Presentation and problem solving skills
  20. Experience of working with African Customers would be preferred
  21. Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and considerable years of solutioning experience, working on large-scale information technology projects, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  22. Should be PMP Certified with good knowledge and experience in Program/Project Management, Quality Management, ERP Implementation, Software Development, Software Delivery, Solutioning
