Job Designation : Mysql DBA Consultant
Job Location : Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore
Job Description :
-Maintain a knowledge base for known issues and share knowledge with fellow DBAs
-Responsible for database administration, Backups and maintenance databases - Inform Customer of any major problems using Incident Management
-Regular database capacity planning related to database growth and system utilization restricted to space management , trend analysis and predicting future database resource requirements
-Database Software installation.
Job Requirements :
-MySQL DBA with Oracle -- MySQL 4 years of experience in Mysql database administration.
-Experience in configurations and administration including grid computing and ASM.
-Strong experience in tuning and addressing performance and latency issues.
-Experience in CDC or other replication tools.
-Experience on UNIX and shell scripting Proven ability in scaling large databases.
-Experience in tuning high performance and high availability applications Ability to optimize queries and make necessary changes-
-Experience in automation in a distributed database environment and migration of objects from Dev to QA to Prod environments.
-Oracle DBA DBA manages space requirement in database objects, Checks DB status and uptime. Performs basic level capacity planning.
-Professional certification (example OCP 9i/10g/11g)
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Ability to take the initiative -Should have a working experience of 2-3 Years on production DB"s
-Thorough knowledge of database concepts
- Quick Learner and strong listening and communication skills with customer focused attitude
-Good Knowledge of general business practices and process flow.
